Justice For Jay

"Justice will only be achieved when those who are not injured by crime
feel as indignant as those who are."
- King Solomon

Are You There?

It's Lizzy again, hey Jay, are you there?
I've put pen to paper my thoughts to share
They say time heals pain, but the pain, it's still here
We remember you frequently and wipe away our tears
You were a friend to all and one that was true
You are loved by many, no, not just a few
God called you home and obediently you went
No one could have known your time here was spent
His faithful follower, yes right to the end
A model husband, father and friend
To say that we miss you just doesn't come close
We know you went bravely with your heavenly host
May 17th, full circle one year
We miss you Jay and want you back here
To us you would say "Be happy not sad,
Remember the good times and laughs that we had"
We press on each day our hearts still are crushed
We'll visit with you Jay in the quiet and hush
We hang on by knowing we'll see you one day "
God give us strength" is the prayer that we pray
We'll see you on the streets of heaven so bold
Riding a Harley no doubt made of gold
You were taken so soon with so much left to share
Hey Jay, we miss you, are you listening up there?
