On one of Kim's "Mirror" messages, she shared some advice given to her by her mother: "Nobody feels your pain but you," (I'm paraphrasing - I don't mean to mis-quote).
Wishing for each of you a place of peace within yourselves,
kim
Please know that though I am not feeling your pain, I am tonight knowing my own pain for what you are feeling.

I was going thru some old photos and came across one of my most cherished photos of Jay and I together. I thought that I would look him up and contact him to see if he would be interested in seeing them again as well. I was not expecting to find that he was killed. For those of you who don't know me, I am his first wife. Even though our marriage didn't work out, we did have the opportunity talk and make things right and remain friends. He was a great guy, a wonderful husband, a best friend, and a great teacher (he taught me to ride). I have and will always forever love him.

Hooray! One of those criminals is behind bars where he should have been from the start. Good work Brenda and Kim. Your vigilence paid off inspite of the Kafka-esque bureaucracy.

Jay,
I wish I'd seen you again sooner and more often. I'll always remember riding mini-bikes, go-karts, and the KISS/Nantucket concert at the age of 10 with your Mom and mine playing chaperone. You were my first best budddy and it sux that you are gone. See you on the other side. Johnny Mac
